Mosiah 5: Limhi says: Mosiah 5:31 And behold, it is because of our iniquities and abominations, that has brought us into bondage. Pay tribute of half of possessions (Mosiah 5:35-36) Had not been evil, would not have suffered this to come upon them: Mos 5:41 A prophet have they slain Mosiah 5:43-45. Both fall into captivity—one for trangressions. The other because the Lord would prove that stand as witnesses. Mosiah 11:62 And this will I do, that ye may stand as witnesses for me hereafter, and that ye may know of a surety that I, the Lord God, do visit my people in their afflictions.
Omni 1:34 And it came to pass that the people of Zarahemla, and of Mosiah, did unite together; and Mosiah was appointed to be their king. Mosiah 11:12 And now I say unto you, ye have been oppressed by King Noah, and have been in bondage to him and his priests, and have been brought into iniquity by them; therefore ye were bound with the bands of iniquity.
